The Ikageng police are investigating two cases of rape after an unknown man woke two pre–teen girls up at midnight last Friday and forced them to perform oral sex with him.
According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, the Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the 12-year-old and 11-year-old allege that they were sleeping in a shack when a man removed a corrugated iron sheet and gained entry by unlocking the door.
Trom says the 12-year-old woke up with the man touching her.
‘The two girls allege that the man forced them to take turns in performing oral sex with him while holding the knife to their necks. He is also believed to have inappropriately fondled the younger child afterwards.
‘When the suspect left, the girls were able to go to the main house and tell the 11-year-old’s mother what had happened,’ said Trom. According to her, a 21-year-old man was arrested.
