Potchefstroom Herald’s Selogile Leshage and Wouter Pienaar excelled at the recent 2016 Caxton Excellence Awards evening held at Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp on 16 March 2017. Over 130 newspapers under the Caxton brand competed for the prestigious media awards. Selogile Leshage (left) was a top 3 finalist in the ‘Best Human Interest Photograph’ category and Wouter Pienaar (right) was the winner of the ‘Best Sport Photograph’ and a top 3 finalist in the ‘Best Sport Journalist’ category.
