The police in Ikageng are investigating an inquest case after the decomposed body of a 32-year-old man was found in Galeshewe Street last Monday.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the Ikageng police spokesperson, the police found the deceased lying on top of his bed in the shack.
‘The body was already decomposed. His father told the police that he forced the door open because of the foul smell coming from the shack. Thereafter, he called the police,’ said Trom. She says the deceased was taken to the Potchefstroom mortuary.
