In a turnaround initiative to restore it to an impeccable state, the J.B. Marks municipality kick-started an intensive cleaning campaign on Tuesday.
Workers cleaned illegal dumping sites, patched potholes, cut overgrown grass, cleared the cemeteries, installed road signs and fixed the street lights, among other things.
The campaign will be rolled out in all the wards, including Ventersdorp
