The J.B Marks municipality is currently experiencing a temporary difficulty relating to the collection of household waste.
According to Jeanette Tshite, the senior media relations officer at J.B. Marks, all the five trucks doing street cleaning have had breakdowns and were being serviced throughout this week.
‘However, two of the trucks have been released and have already started with the collection of house waste. This will continue throughout the weekend. The remaining three trucks will be released next Monday,’ she said.
Tshite says the municipality regrets the inconvenience caused and is doing its best to bring the situation back to normal.
