Lions make a difference with soup

During July, over 800 people were fed and, since then, far over 1 000.

Since Nelson Mandela’s birthday in July, the Potchefstroom Lions Community Service Club has been doing pop-up soup kitchens to make sure the hungry children in our community get much-needed sustenance.
It was held every Saturday in July and, since then, once a month. It is heartwarming to see the appreciation on these young faces.
During July, over 800 people were fed and, since then, far over 1 000.
The Lions rely on volunteers and donations to further their cause of serving their community.
