A 27-year-old woman delivered a fatal stab to the chest of her lover during a lover’s quarrel in Sonderwater on Saturday.
Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the police spokesperson, says the police arrested the girlfriend and charged her with the murder of Tebogo Siza (also 27).
“The police were called to the scene of the crime at about 20:10 on Saturday. Upon their arrival, they met a group of people gathered in the road, near a body covered with a blanket. When the police lifted the blanket, they saw the wound in his chest. They met with the suspect’s mother who pointed her daughter out to them. The woman explained that the two lovers had been fighting when the incident occurred. She then handed the murder weapon to the police,” said Trom.
