Promosa Secondary School staged a silent march in black against women and child abuse and xenophobic attacks on Monday (8 September 2019). The school conducted the march with the aim to conscientise members of the community about the recent violent attacks that have been happening around the country. The learners from grades 8 and 9 marched through the main roads of Promosa and the seniors formed a crescent-shaped human chain at the school. They carried posters about the current problems in our society. This demonstration also sought to encourage the victims to speak out.
