The body of a two-month-old baby was found on the morning of Christmas day, in Ottosdal.
Brigadier Sabatha Mokgwabone, Provincial Police spokesperson says that the Ottosdal Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the lifeless body of a two-month old baby was found last Wednesday (25 December) morning.
“According to information available at this stage, reports suggest that the mother slept with the baby on Tuesday night after a drinking spree and subsequent altercation with the baby’s father,” said Brigadier Mokgwabone.
He further said that the departed body was taken to the mortuary for further investigations to be conducted, which includes a post-mortem examination.
