Local municipality pleads for communities’ patience

J.B. Marks Municipality pleads for public's patience as electricians work on restoring electricity.

Areas under the J.B. Marks Local Municipality jurisdiction experienced storms earlier this weeks.

The storms unfortunately has affected the power lines and resulted to some roofs of houses being blown off. Victor Boqo, the mayoral spokesperson says that the electricians are at work to restore electricity and says that as the municipality, they request the public to be patience and once the power lines are fixed, they will attend to individual complaints.

“Our Disaster Call Centre is experiencing a high volume of complaints of electricity,” says Boqo.
He furthers pleads with the communities for their cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience that has been caused.
