MEC Lehari of DCS&TM bid farewell to Lt Gen. Motswenyane

MEC Sello Lehari of Community Safety and Transport Management bid the then North West Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen. Baile Motswenyane farewell after she began her term as Provincial Commissioner in 2016.

MEC (Member of the Executive Council) Sello Lehari of Community Safety and Transport Management (dcs&tm) bid farewell to the then North West Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen. Baile Motswenyane.

In a press release, the MEC and Premier Prof Job Mokgobo, paid tribute to her stewardship as there was a crime reduction of at least 5 per cent

Lt Gen. Motswenyane arrived in the North West in 2016 but has now been transferred to the Free State, where she will continue her term. She has been succeeded by Lt Gen. Sello Kwena, who is now the new Top Cop of the province.

MEC Lehari and Lt Gen. Motswenyane worked together since he was elected as the MEC of Community Safety and Transport Management, after the May elections last year.

He bid her farewell and said, “I never thought I would say goodbye to you so soon,

“I’m both happy and sad. Happy to have worked with you and sad to see you go. We became close in a short space of time and you made me feel welcome”.
