The SOW (Students of Worth) fund is an initiative started by the Academy and is a registered non-profit organization.

SOW generates funds to provide financial assistance to students of merit which will give them the opportunity to complete a qualification.

The SOW fund’s existence is entirely dependent on donations, sponsors and fundraising projects including funds raised through the Student Council and debutants.

The Hannon Bothma event in Potchefstroom on the 28th of March is such an initiative to support the SOW students. All funds generated by this event will be directed to financially challenged students to cover their costs of their studies, tuition, and in some cases accommodation and even day-to-day living expenses.

The funds generated by SOW opens a new world to a young adult where they can pursue their dream career at Potch Academy and SAAHST.
