Promosa Secondary school will reopen on Thursday 9 July, following its closure on 25 June, after a School Governing Body (SGB) member tested positive for Covid-19.
“A parent whom visited the school on 24 June tested positive for Covid-19 and came in contact with several colleagues,” the school stated in a letter addressed to parents.
The necessary protocals and precautionary measures were carried out and contacts were put in self isolation.
Educators will report on Wednesday, 8 July, to finalise arrangements for the phasing in of its grade 11 learners.
