
A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death in Daisy Street, Promosa, allegedly over an empty stand.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the police spokesperson, the man was declared dead on the scene around noon on Sunday, 26 July.
“He (the deceased) suffered a stab wound to the left side of his chest,” said Trom.
According to her, a man, who identified himself as the deceased’s cousin, told the police the deceased was stabbed after getting involved in an altercation over an unoccupied stand.
A murder case was opened and the investigation continues.
