Municipality gives back to Jane Letsapa learners

As a part of the annual municipal Back-to-School Campaign, Ruddy Manja, ward 27 councillor handed over sanitary towels to learners of Jane Letsapa Intermediate School in Matlwang Village. 

As a part of the annual municipal Back-to-School Campaign, Ruddy Manja, ward 27 councillor handed over sanitary towels to learners of Jane Letsapa Intermediate School in Matlwang Village. 

“ The handover was very successful as we handed over sanitary towels as intended and further ended the day by helping to clean the school,” Manja said.

The campaign is expected to continue until the end of this month. 

 The MMC for Community Services, Mantwa Kasale kickstarted the campaign at Sonderwater where she handed over instant porridge and toiletries to families on Tuesday 8, January. 

The 2023 Back-to-School Campaign mainly intends to support or help those children who are from previously disadvantaged families, child-headed families, orphans and those who primarily depend on social grants for survival.
