Runners tying their laces for popular Great Brick Run

The first 100 participants that can finish the 21.1km half-marathon with one brick in hand will be rewarded with a six pack of beer.

The ever-popular Great Brick Run hosted by Berts Bricks Athletics Club is back this Saturday (21 January) and will once again be one of the highlights on the road running calendar.

This race offers participants a unique challenge. The first 100 participants that can finish the 21.1km half-marathon with one brick in hand will be rewarded with a six pack of beer.

The race starts and finishes at the Snowflake Building. The 21.1km starts at 06:15 with the 10 and 5km races commencing at 06:30. Pre-entry fees for all the races are as follows:
21.1km – R 150
10km – R 100
5km – R 50

Pre-entries for the race can be completed at Entry Ninja online.
Entries on the day (from 05:00) will be more expensive for the 21.1km and 10km races:
21.1km – R 180
10km – R 130
5km – R 50
