Decomposed body found at Promosa graveyard

An Inquest, is being conducted by the Ikageng police after the body of 35-year-old Lerato George Smit was discovered at Promosa Graveyard on Saturday, 28 Jan 2023 at approximately 07:30.

According to police spokesperson, Colonel Adele Myburgh, police were alerted by a community member. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and it is not possible to say at this stage what the cause of death was,” she confirmed.
