Public invited to give input towards the Integrated Development Plan of municipality

The first major engagement will take place on Monday, 6 February at the Madiba Banquet Hall at 17:00.

The JB Marks Local Municipality are hosting various Integrated Development Plan community engagements this month.

The communities’ input and public participation at large in the fifth generation IDP (2022-2027) will be crucial for the development of wards and the municipality.

The JB Marks executive mayor, Gaba Ka Qhele, has in a public notice invited the community of JB Marks to participate in these public meetings. This is per the Local Government Municipal Systems Act of 2000 which in short states that municipalities should encourage public participation in matters of local government.

The first major engagement will take place on Monday, 6 February at the Madiba Banquet Hall at 17:00.

This will be for residents in wards 2,3,4,5,7,15,22,23,24 and 25.
