MooiMed hospital now part of Lenmed group

The Lenmed group, a South African hospital group, acquired MooiMed Private Hospital in Potchefstroom, October 2023.

The group is excited to about the growth and reach in North West as it provides the group with the opportunity to provide exceptional healthcare services to communities within the province.

The Lenmed group has ownership of Matlosana Medical Health Services Group (MMHS) comprising Wilmed Park Private Hospital, Parkmed Neuro Clinic, Daleside Day Hospital and Sunningdale Private Hospital in Klerksdorp.

Lenmed seeks to transform the healthcare industry through growth and innovation, and seeks to strengthen and serve superior and personalised care to a bigger patient base.

Through MooiMed Private Hospital, an 83-bed facility, Lenmed aims to build on the existing provision of a range of general medical services, specialties, and treatments that include but are not limited to orthopaedics, urology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ENT), general surgery and gynaecology.
