JB Marks receives Blue Drop water status
The JB Marks Local Municipality was the only municipality in North West to receive a Blue Drop Certification Status this year.

The Municipality received this status for the Potchefstroom Water Supply System during the Blue Drop Certification Awards that was held at the Emperors Palace Hotel in Kempton Park on Tuesday, 5 December.
According to J.B. Marks Municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite, the municipality demonstrated significant improvement in its other systems when compared to the outcomes of previous audits.
