Road users are informed that a section of Govan Mbeki Avenue next to the Trimpark is closed from 10:00 today (1 January) – 04:00 tomorrow (Tuesday, 2 January) for an event.

A music fest, Tlokwe Chillaz, is taking place at the Trim Park from 10:00 (1 January) – 04:00 (2 January).

The road is closed in the direction from the Bult area towards Mooirivier Mall. The section starts at the corner of Retief Street and Govan Mbeki Avenue up until the intersection at Dr. James Moroka and Govan Mbeki Avenue.

The public are advised to use alternative routes during the course of the event.
