Waterpipe damage affects Extension 6 residents

Residents are advised to collect and store sufficient water in advance for domestic use during the interruption.

Damage to the water mainline that supplies water to Extension 6 in Ikageng will cause a water interruption today (Thursday, July 23) from 10:00.

According to JB Marks Municipality spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite, the water supply will be temporarily shut down to facilitate repair work.

“Residents are advised to collect and store sufficient water in advance for domestic use during the interruption. The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience while repairs are being undertaken.”
