A multi-vehicle collision has caused heavy traffic congestion on the N12 at the Nelson Mandela Bridge, in Potchefstroom, on Wednesday morning, August 5.

The crash has reportedly left multiple people injured. Emergency services are on the scene attending to the casualties.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and make use of alternative routes where possible as significant traffic delays are expected.
