Update: Stop signs installed at N12 Paryslaan Intersection amid traffic light outage

Stop signs have been installed at the N12 and Paryslaan intersection due to a traffic light outage.

The intersection of N12 and Paryslaan is experiencing significant traffic disruptions due to non-functioning traffic lights. As of 16:06 today, the traffic lights at this busy junction are reported to be out of order.

In response to the malfunction, STOP signs have been installed to manage the flow of traffic and ensure safety at the intersection. However, drivers should anticipate delays as traffic volumes increase and the situation is addressed.

Anné van Onselen, a councilor from the Democratic Alliance (DA), commented on the issue: “The traffic lights are currently out of service, and STOP signs have been put up. We urge motorists to expect delays and exercise patience as we work to resolve the situation.”

Authorities are working to repair the traffic lights, but in the meantime, commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid congestion.
