Jomo Cosmos’s talented youngster,  Tebogo Tlolane is a star in the making.

‘Messi’, as he is nicknamed in local football circles, has taken the National First Division (NFD) by storm. The left- footed player has featured in all of Ezenkosi’s six games this season.

Tlolane started out at Orlando Pirates’ junior teams before making the move to Cosmos towards the end of last season.

‘Since the start of the season, the mood in the camp has been high, it is easy for a young player like me to have a decent conversation with a senior player,’ explained Tlolane.

Tlolane produced a match-winning performance against Amazulu, scoring a free kick and providing an assist.

The 21-year-old made mention of his immediate ambitions this season: ‘Obviously, getting the promotion to the PSL would be the greatest achievement. Individually, I would like to contribute by either scoring or assisting regularly.’

Tlolane who was overlooked at Orlando Pirates as a junior concluded: ‘We have to focus on winning and continue working hard.’
