South African netball lovers are in for a treat this weekend with the SA National Netball Championships being shown live this weekend. Potchefstroom Gimnasium, Hoër Volkskool Potchefstroom and Potchefstroom Girls High will be the local schools representing the city at these national championships.

School Sports (which is part of the popular Varsity Sports-brand) has partnered with DStv for the upcoming weekend’s South African Schools Netball Nationals, which takes place at EG Jansen from 20 to 22 July 2018.

The Nationals at EG Janse will determine the top u.19 teams. Those teams will advance to the brand new SASN u.19 Schools Sports Netball Championships, which will take place from 9 to 12 August 2018 at Wits University.

Between 07:45 and 17:00 on Friday, 20 July and Saturday, 21 July, all matches on the main court (Court 3) including a number of the u.19 netball matches, will be streamed live on the DStv Now app and one does not have to be a DStv subscriber to access the feed.

Friday’s action starts with the u.19A match between Garsfontein and Secunda at 07:45. Included in the live stream will be all the play-off matches on Saturday, 21 July. The full fixtures can be viewed on schoolsportssa.com.
