The High School for Girls Potchefstroom recently performed well at the inter-high swimming gala at Girls’ High on 15 October. Bianca Opperman was just one of the swimmers who shone in a fantastic team effort that saw GHS take first place in the girls’ section. GHS also came third overall (boys and girls combined standings). Opperman’s three first places saw her take the senior victrix ludorum title. The schools that took part in the event were The High School for Girls Potchefstroom, Potchefstroom Gimnasium, Potchefstroom High School for Boys, Hoërskool Rustenburg, Curro Klerksdorp Independent School and Ferdinand Postma High School.
