Liverpool have already won the English Premier League, but they are not done yet. If you are a punter, download the betway app and get ready to cash in on the action. Even though we are in June, the Reds are cruising with a 23-point lead at the top of the table. After their closest rivals, Man City lost to Chelsea, Liverpool set their first record this season by becoming the team to have won the Premier League the earliest in terms of remaining matches.

Jurgen Klopp is not about to stop; he is pushing his team to set their sights on more records within their reach. If the team remains focused, they can break up to five more Premier League records. Read on to find out more.

Most Points in a Season

Man City are the current holders of this record after managing 100 goals in the 2017/18 season. This season, Liverpool could haul up to 107 points from the remaining matches. Out of the seven remaining games, the Reds can afford to lose two and win five to break the Premier League points per season record.

Largest Winning Margin

This is another record being held by Man City. City broke this record in the 2017/18 season when they won the title by a margin of 19 points. Currently, the Reds are 23 points clear at the top of the Premier League table. If Klopp can keep his team focused, they are on course to breaking yet another record. Punters on Betway can bet on Liverpool to keep winning matches as they still have business to take care of.

The Most Wins in a Season

Pep Guardiola’s men are the holders of this record too. Manchester City are the current record holders with 32 wins in a single season. Currently, Liverpool are have already won 28 matches. The Reds must win five of the remaining fixtures to break this record. Out of the seven remaining games, only three are against the “top” teams i.e., Man City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. The rest are against Aston Villa, Brighton, Burnley, and Newcastle. On paper, the Reds have a chance of breaking the record. In reality, there are different dynamics in each game, depending on what the opponents are fighting for. You can brace yourself for an exciting home stretch in the coming weeks.

Most Home Wins

In Premier League history, no team has ever won all the 19 home matches. So far, Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield and have to overcome Aston Villa, Burnley and Chelsea to achieve this record. Currently, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City have the highest home wins per season, having managed 18 wins. In theory, they can fancy their chances against the remaining opponents, albeit without the home fans in the stadium.

Most Away Wins

The current record holders of the most away wins in a season are Man City. This season Liverpool have managed 12 wins out of 15 matches. To beat the current record, they will have to beat Manchester City, Brighton, Arsenal, and Newcastle. Punters on Betway and other sports betting sites will have an interesting time betting on these games. There could be surprises!
