The Orkney Junior Open was held over the weekend with Jaco Anderson (Klerksdorp Hoërskool) emerging as the overall and u.19 winner. Blake Botes (Klerksdorp Hoërskool) beat Zander Nel (Wesvalia) in a play-off for the u.17 title. Other winners included:

The North West Golf Union have announced an Order of Merit Race to 2021 to be held from August to December with the overall winner qualifying for the S.A. Amateur Open in 2021. There are also other categories including Ladies, Senior and Juniors. The first events is on 30th August at Rustenburg.
