The NWU Cricket team is back in action after the Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year. A practice match against Wits took place at the NWU Cricket Oval on Saturday, 7 November. NWU cruised to a nine-wicket win after bowling Wits out for 135. The top bowlers for the NWU were Ruan Haasbroek (3/24) and AJ Jacobs with 2/23. The NWU also easily chased down the target with 24 overs to spare. Chris Brits top-scored with 53 (68).
