“The reason why I started playing was that my friend was playing Ikageng Hub. I decided to join because she always spent time there and I fell in love with the game,” stated Nini, whose cricketing inspiration is Rassie van der Dussen.
According to this Mohadin Secondary learner, she has gained a lot of exposure playing for the Dragons women, increasing her chances for national recognition down the line. “I aim to play for SA u.19 and, one day, for the Proteas women.”
