The Potch Track Club middle distance athletes has been flying the flag high in Europe this past few weeks with numerous top performances in red and black.
Jerry Motsau’s SA 3000m record in Italy in June was just the beginning of big things for these athletes who has taken to the European athletics circuit like ducks to water.

At the recent European Athletics meeting in Kortrijk, Belgium, Motsau picked up a superb second place in a time of 3:38.67 in the men’s 1500m. Luan Munnik clocked a 3:43.29 to take fourth place in the same race.

Earlier in the week the Potch Track Club men, Dillan van Rooyen and Henco Uys also impressed in Germany. Van Rooyen recorded a personal best of 1:47.84 with Uys finishing in a time of 1: 47.69. Munnik also impressed with a time of 3:41.19 in the 1500m.
