Mother and son complete SA biathlon

Both represented North West with pride during the event that consisted of running and swimming.

A mother and son duo, Elmarie and Karl Engles, achieved great results at the South African Biathlon championships in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on 2 April.

Both represented North West with pride during the event that consisted of running and swimming. Elmarie (51), a teacher at Potchefstroom Central School, achieved a tenth place in her category, while Karl (13), a grade 7 learner at Laerskool Baillie Park, came 40th.
