De Beer gets impressive first round submission win at EFC 104

Ncgobo also known as "Dog Danger" was more bark than bite in this fight as De Beer's clinical performance left his opponent leaving the cage with his tail between his legs.

Potchefstroom based MMA fighter, Roevan de Beer, made quick work of his opponent, Bheki Ncgobo, with a first round submission victory at EFC 104 on Thursday, 15 June.

This Extreme Fighting Championship match was a display of De Beer’s determination and technique on the ground, as locked in a triangle choke submission for the win.

Ncgobo also known as “Dog Danger” was more bark than bite in this fight as De Beer’s clinical performance left his opponent leaving the cage with his tail between his legs.

“I knew that we would have the advantage on the ground. He was still a very tough opponent to submit. It took a high level of grappling to eventually make him tap,” added De Beer, who represents Coalition Grappling Academy.

This was De Beer’s sixth win in EFC and the fifth one by submission. His overall record now stands at six wins and six losses.
