Potch Boys High geared for derby with Northwood

Potch Boys High will travel to Durban confident after a good display against Zeerust this past weekend.

Potchefstroom High School for Boys’ rugby teams recently got their league season underway with a clash against Zeerust at home on April 17. This has been great preparation for an upcoming road trip to Durban where Boys High will face Northwood.

The First team drew 19-19 in a tightly contested encounter against Zeerust. The U14 and U15 teams won convincingly with 38-5 and 38-7 wins respectively.

According to Potchefstroom Boys High sport director, Mohau Mohlahleli, the coaching staff is excited for an upcoming clash against one of their brother school, Northwood Boys High in Durban.

“We are going to prep well and we hope for a good derby match,” added Mohalhleli.

Results against Zeerust:

U14: 38-5 (Boys High win)

U15: 38-7 (Boys High win)

U16: 7-78 (Zeerust win)

U19B: 42-7 (Boys High win)

U19A: 19-19 (Draw)
