Progress made in water supply for Linden and Blairgowrie areas
Some areas in Randburg are still without water, eight days later.

Residents in Linden 1 and 2, as well as Blairgowrie, have seen minor improvements in water supply volumes due to recent interventions by Johannesburg Water and Rand Water.
Johannesburg Water said in a statement that progress has been made in Kensington B tower and Linden 2 reservoirs, but challenges remain in Linden 1 and Blairgowrie reservoirs. “Technical teams are working to address these issues and alternative water supply solutions are being implemented, including redirecting water tankers to provide support.”

Areas like Blairgowrie, Kensington B and surrounds haven’t had water for eight days.
Many took to social media to share their frustrations:
Pretoria Avenue Ferndale still doesn't have water so how can u say Kensington B reservoir and tower is supplying water if we don't even get 1 drop of water

This has been the same plan for a few days – it's not working. It's time to come up with a better solution. Water tankers are not going to solve the problem.
