Busisiwe Dladla has been found guilty of murder, kidnapping, and extortion after her client failed to repay a loan in Randburg.

A 47-year-old woman, Busisiwe Dladla, has been convicted by the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg for the murder of Mzwandile Konki in Randburg.

Dladla faced multiple charges, including murder, kidnapping, torture, extortion, and money laundering. Investigations revealed she lent Konki R15 000. When he failed to repay, she arranged his kidnapping on September 5, 2022. He was briefly released before being kidnapped again on September 9, taken to Dladla’s home, detained, and tortured. Konki died from injuries sustained during this second abduction on September 10, 2022.
