The King’s School Robin Hills leaders lead by example
Olwamisayo Idowu and Lihle Gwala, 2024 leaders at The King's School Robin Hills, led the way with 8 distinctions each in the final matric exams.

The King’s School Robin Hills head of students in 2024 Olwamisayo Idowu and Lihle Gwala led by example as they achieved 8 distinctions each.
Olwamisayo also ranked in the top 1% of the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) for life orientation and mathematics.
He excelled in accounting, English HL, isiZulu FAL, life orientation, life sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, and further studies mathematics. He plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at either Wits or at a university in the United States.

He explained that he is happy that all of his hard work paid off. “I am proud of myself and grateful to my teachers for all the help. Being consistent in my studies helped me a lot. My advice to the coming class is: Keep on working and try your hardest, even when it’s hard.”
Lihle achieved distinctions in accounting, Afrikaans FAL, English HL, life orientation, life sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, and further studies mathematics. She is set to study actuarial science at either the University of Cape Town (UCT) or the University of Pretoria (UP).
Gerda Buys, High School principal, said that they are proud of the class of 2024, and they wish them all the best in their new chapter in life. The matric Class of 2024 achieved a 100% pass rate.
