Water maintenance scheduled across Joburg in June and July

Ongoing repairs by Rand Water will affect water supply in several areas. Residents should prepare for possible outages and stay informed through official updates.

Residents are advised that scheduled maintenance by Rand Water from June 3 to July 21 will impact some Johannesburg Water systems, potentially causing reduced pressure or no water in affected areas. After each maintenance, it may take several days for supplies to return to normal.

From June 30, the Eikenhof system will undergo repairs at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch plant, leading to no pumping for six hours initially, then 50% for 42 hours, and 80% for the remaining days.
