Rand Park High School’s netball programme delivered a strong showing at the 2026 Menlo Netball Tournament, with five of the school’s teams combining for an impressive haul of results across a gruelling schedule hosted by Die Hoërskool Menlopark in Pretoria.

Each team competed in 11 matches, testing depth, fitness and mental resolve over the course of the tournament.

The standout performance came from the first team, which claimed nine wins from its 11 outings, a result that will give coach and players plenty of confidence heading into the season proper.

The U14 side was not far behind, recording eight wins in what was a commanding display from the younger age group. The U16 team also had much to celebrate, finishing with seven wins and a draw, while the U17s secured five victories from their matches.

The U15 team rounded off the programme with four wins and a draw, showing resilience in a competitive field.

Across all five age groups, Rand Park’s players were praised for their determination, fighting spirit and the ability to grow through the experience, particularly in the closer contests where results could have gone either way.

The tournament, regarded as one of the more demanding fixtures on the school netball calendar, provided valuable match exposure that Rand Park’s coaching staff will look to build on as the season unfolds.
