Stadio beats eta in a hard-fought college football clash
In a clash between colleges, eta College fell 1–0 to Stadio at Randburg Football Club.
Stadio secured a 1–0 victory over eta College in a highly competitive soccer clash played at Randburg Football Club.
The match, on May 15, formed part of a college clash between the two institutions, with both teams showing great determination from kickoff.

At the beginning of the first half, eta started strong, creating promising chances in goal attempts. However, Stadio remained disciplined, taking on the pressure well.
Just before halftime, Stadio found the breakthrough, as Sandile Nkambule took advantage of a scoring opportunity.
The goal made supporters very excited as their confidence in their team grew.

The second half resumed with renewed intensity from both sides, as the game became increasingly physical, resulting in several injuries. Eta was awarded a free kick, following a challenge on one of their players, but missed the goal.
Both teams continued searching for scoring opportunities. Eta landed a penalty but missed, allowing Stadio to hold on to their one goal until the final whistle, securing victory over eta.

Stadio coach Tinotenda Ruvinga praised his players for making the most of the opportunity.
“It’s a good result, especially because the boys have been waiting for this opportunity to showcase their talent and show people that Stadio is actually a team. It is something that they are going to celebrate on the bus on our way back home.”
Goal scorer Nkambule said he was happy to contribute to the team’s success. “I am happy to see the guys happy. I really feel like I did a good job. The other team also played well.”
Eta coach Scott Zondi said they will take the defeat, as they did not practice enough.
He added that he thinks Stadio really brought their A-game.
