Young track cyclist wins four medals at African Championships
Matric learner does South Africa, and his local school, proud in Nigeria.
Curro Aurora is proud of Grade 12 learner, Joshua Dike, who recently won medals at a major track cycling event in Nigeria.
Joshua represented the South African junior men’s team at the CAC Track African Continental Championships in Abuja in July, and won a total of four medals.

Individually, he won gold in the elimination race and silver in the points race, his team won gold in the team pursuit event and then he and his partner took gold in the Madison (relay) event.
South Africa dominated the 2021 edition in Cairo and this year proved no different as athletes from around 20 countries competed in this prestigious event.
Joshua has been selected to represent South Africa at the Junior World Track Cycling Championship in Tel Aviv, Israel from August 23 to 27.
