Newborn found dead: Hunt for mother begins

Case of concealment of birth investigated.

Randfontein Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth after a newborn was found dead next to a school in Toekomsrus on Friday last week.

According to Randfontein Police spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, ” If anybody in Toekomsrus knows about a woman who was pregnant recently and isn’t anymore and doesn’t have a baby, please contact the Randfontein detectives on 011 278 8100.”
