Police have confirmed that the one of the drivers of the three vehicle crash in Randgate on the corner of Malan and van Devender Streets on Thursday (29 May) was arrested for drunk driving.

“I can confirm that police are investigating a case of reckless driving/ negligent driving, and driving under the influence,” Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein police said.

The collision involved three cars, one of which was a write-off and the other two were not severely damaged. Fortunately for all the motorists, there were no injuries.
