Man sought in connection with assault case

Randfontein Police release photo of man wanted in connection with an assault case in Pelzvale.

The Randfontein Police are urgently requesting assistance to trace a person who might shed light on a case of assault.

Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed that the Randfontein Detectives are investigating an assault that was committed in Pelzvale during December 2017.

“The investigating officer, Warrant Officer Brian Wylbach, indicated that one Archie Sosibo (aka Shirley) might be able to assist in the investigation of the matter.

“Sosibo is requested to contact the investigating officer on 011 2788100. Any person who might be able to assist in tracing Sosibo is also requested to contact Warrant Officer Wylbach,” she said.

The police calls on the help of the community members to assist them with information. Anyone with information can contact the Crime Stop number – 08600 10111 or SMS Crime Line – 32211 to report crime anonymously.

Assist the Gauteng Police to fight fraud, corruption, unethical behaviour or any other suspicious activities that could be detrimental to their success by phoning the Gauteng Standby Provincial Duty numbers: Duty General – 082 313 8299 or Duty Brigadier – 082 444 4354.
