Itumeleng LSEN School has marked Child Protection Week on Friday 21 May by hosting a wide variety of demonstrations and presentation from various departments and agencies.
According to Archie Danke, spokesperson of the school, National Child Protection Week is commemorated throughout the country to raise awareness about children’s rights.

“We had the pleasure of hosting various departments and agencies such as the Gauteng Department of Education, Emergency services, Correctional Services, the Rand West Traffic Department and even the police, who have made presentations on the respective roles they played to protect children,” Danke said.
