No more dancing on the ceiling for these thugs

Two suspects aged 19 and 24 were arrested at the scene of a housebreaking and theft on Albrecht Street in Westonaria on Friday 18 March.

Two suspects aged 19 and 24 who were found hiding in the ceiling of a house on Albrecht Street, Westonaria were arrested for housebreaking and theft on Friday March 18.

According to Westonaria Police spokesperson Sergeant Audrey Sefara, police were called to the house at about 08:00.

While the complainant was showing police how the intruders had gained entry, they heard a noise coming from the ceiling where police found the two unknown men hiding. They subsequently arrested them,” said Sergeant Sefara.

Both suspects will appear in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court soon.
