R12 000 cash stolen at business in CBD

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security revealed one serious incident took place at a business on Sunday, February 5 where R12 000 in cash among other things were stolen.

One incident only, a break-in and theft was reported to Mapogo A Mathamaga Security client base in the Rand West City for the period Monday, January 30 to Sunday, February 5.

Operations manager Danie Vermeulen said the incident occurred at a business on Main Reef Road in, Randfontein’s CBD at about 04:58 on Sunday, February 5.

Suspects gained entry by breaking a lock on the roller shutter door and went on to steal one point of sale (POS) machine, one CCTV DVR and R12 000 in cash.”
