The memorial followed last week’s fatal shooting in Toekomsrus Ext 4, in which four people were killed. According to Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, five coloured men driving a silver-grey Kia Picanto entered the victims’ home and opened fire before fleeing the scene without taking anything. Police investigations are ongoing as officers continue searching for the suspects.
