Praise and worship unite the youth

Time2Rise held a praise and worship evening for the town’s youth.

On April 26, the countrywide organisation hosted an opportunity for the youth of Randfontein to gather, sing and dance. The event was held on the corner of the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein.

Organiser Enrico van Aswegan stated he wanted to bring the Holy Spirit to the youth.

“I received instructions from God to unite the youth,” he said.

Enrico added that it is important to unite the children of God and to rejoice in His name. Enrico emphasised that adults were also welcome to join the praise and worship opportunity.

He further stated that they are not affiliated with any business or church.

“The last few weeks we have seen a lot of problems in schools. Therefore, we decided to gather the youth and try to solve the problems through God. We aimed for the youth to make a connection with one another,” he said.

One of the youth attendees, Kobus Jansen van Vuuren (14) stated that the evening was a good opportunity to unite the children of Randfontein and to solve unwanted problems.

Ziandri Britz (12) claimed that she enjoyed every moment while Zanele Rasmeni (22) added, “It is good to see young people gathering together. We have to try and do this more regularly. This is a very small town and we all believe in one God. We should do it together.”
